Parents Confront Son After Spotting Security Tag Still Attached to New Sneakers

Las Vegas, Nevada- Pam Cho confronts her son Phillip Cho after discovering a red security tag still attached to his brand new Nike sneakers. Phillip claimed that he had won the chance to buy the sneakers at a retail price, and even showed his receipt to his mom, however, his mom does not believe it.

“Back in the day, Phillip would be able to fool me with his intelligent lies. However, that is no more. We will not fall for any of his lies anymore.” commented Pam. “Phillip tried to prove that he did not steal the sneaker by showing us the receipt from END clothing. He claimed to have won the chance to buy the sneakers for retail, and from that moment on, I knew he was lying. What kind of raffle gives out the opportunity to buy a shoe as a prize? They should give the shoe for free! Phillip claimed that the red tag was a part of Virgil Abloh’s design. However, we did not buy it. What kind of dork would want to walk around wearing a security tag?”

Pam and her husband, Huynh made Phillip return the shoe to the store as a punishment. “We made sure that he went to the store and returned the shoes by himself, so he will face the consequence of stealing.” He was reportedly upset at his parents because he has already sold his pair of sneaker to the website known as StockX. “Now I have to pay a 15% fine because I failed to ship the shoes. I was about to make a quick $500, but I just lost $150 because of my parents. I hate my dumb Asian parents!” Phillip commented.

“Phillip claimed that the red tag was a part of Virgil Abloh’s design. However, we did not buy it. What kind of dork would want to walk around wearing a security tag?

Pam states that she does not understand why her child would steal from a store. “We have raised a perfect child, and we give him a dollar allowance a per day! Back in my day, a dollar would last you a week.” Pam stated.
